I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to New Simpson Hill District #32. It is an honor and blessing to serve and work with the community of New Simpson Hill with their future projects and goals. As a Pre-K through 8th grade school district, we have a strong commitment to inspire excellence, maintain high standards and are always seeking ways to improve. New Simpson Hill was awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2020. We attribute this success to the teamwork of the dedicated school board members, collaborative staff, excelling students, and supportive parents and community members. Mrs. Anderson retired in 2014 as Superintendent at New Simpson Hill District #32 and is returning as Interim Superintendent for the 2023-2024 school year. She has served as an administrator for 23 years for three schools in Johnson County. She also served as a Consultant for Shawnee Community College in the area of College and Career Pathway Endorsements and served as the School Improvement Coordinator for the Regional Office of Education which allowed her to assist schools across southern Illinois. She completed her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in educational leadership and administration at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
