Ms. Yandell - Assistant Superintendent

On behalf of the teachers and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. Whether you are enrolling your first child in Kindergarten, or your youngest and last child in 8th grade, we cherish the opportunity that we have to partner with you and your children in the beginning years of their formal education. All of us at New Simpson Hill are committed to helping students succeed. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of the Mustang Family.

I invite you to become involved in your child’s education by joining one of our many organizations that are here to help our students. Our PTO group meets monthly and has several opportunities for parent involvement. Meeting information is sent home in our monthly newletters and is listed on the monthly calendar.

Although Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in October, we highly encourage parents to contact the school if you feel your child needs additional help. We will always make time for you; either through telephone conversations, email, or face-to face meetings. In this regard, please contact your child’s teacher at any time throughout the year to arrange a conference.
