3RD GRADE WISH LIST ITEMS:

I always have parents ask about donating items to our classroom.  Below is a short list of supplies for those who feel led to contribute supplies.   Please do not feel obligated to purchase any “Wish List” items.  Donations are always appreciated but never required or expected.  

Class Size: 25 Students

 

Items Used to Replenish Students’ Supplies

  • Ticonderoga Pencils

  • Plastic 2-Pocket Folders with 3 Prongs     

  • Crayola Broad Line Markers     

  • Crayola Colored Pencils     

  • Earbuds/Headphones with Cord

  • Student Scissors (5” or 6” only)

 

Items Used for Rewards/Prizes

  • Different (Ink) Colors of Ink Pens       

  • Decorative Pencils (Not Wrapped in Plastic) 

  • Mechanical Pencils

  • Small Containers of Play-Doh (used for fidget purposes also)

  • Super Bubble or Double Bubble Bubble Gum

  • Black Forest Juicy Burst Gummies (Individual packages)

  • Hi-C Box Drinks

  • Mamba Fruit Chews

Please do not label any of these supplies.

(Students will keep some of these supplies in their desks and put some in the classroom “Share Box.”) 

  • 40 - Ticonderoga Pencils (Pre-sharpened/Non-Mechanical)  

  • 3 - 24 Count Crayola Crayons (No Larger)

  • 24 - Pencil Top Erasers

  • 3 - Large Pink Erasers    

  • 3 - Yellow Highlighters

  • 4 - Large Elmer’s Glue Sticks

  • 3 - Boxes of Kleenex Facial Tissues (No Individual Packages)

 

PLEASE LABEL THESE SUPPLIES:

  • 1 - Regular Size Backpack (Rolling Bags are often too big for their lockers.)

  • 1 - Pencil Sharpener with Covered Area for Shavings

  • 1 - Ruler with Inches & Centimeters (Non-Folding/Non-Bending)

  • 1 - Fiskar 5-Inch or 6- Inch Scissors

  • 2 - Large Zippered Crayon/Pencil Pouches (No Pencil Boxes)

  • 1 - Heavy Duty 1-inch Binder with Clear Sleeve on Front & Inside Pockets (No Trapper Keepers or Zippered/Velcro Binders)

  • 1 - 2-inch Binder with Clear Sleeve on Front & Inside Pockets

  • 2 - Wide Ruled Composition Notebooks (Not Spiral)

  • 3 - Plastic 2-Pocket Folders with Prongs        

  • Headphones or Earbuds (Corded Preferred)  

  • Fun Book (Word Search, Crossword Puzzles, etc.)

  • 1 - Extra Pair of Socks to Keep in Locker             

  • 1 - Pair of Clean Tennis Shoes with Non-Marking Soles  (Our gym was refinished this summer, so all students will need to have gym shoes to keep at school.)

 

BOYS ONLY

  • 1 - Box of Gallon Ziploc Bags

  • 1 - Set of Subtraction Flash Cards

  • 1 - Set of Addition Flash Cards

 

✭✭ We will be learning all math facts this year and completing timed tests.  Having a set of each type of flash cards (+, -, ×, ÷) at home will be a great idea.  It’s never too early to start using them!✭✭
